Show Ring
Success
Since 1998, under the expert showmanship of
Jim Curry of the Jim Curry Training Center, our ponies have been consistent winners in
show rings all over the country. In 2002, Jim Curry trekked back to the SHETLAND CONGRESS
with two of our ponies and we came away with Classic Reserve Grand Champion Stallion,
Step-N-Stone's Fancy Russet Roulette, and Classic Senior Champion mare, Penny Piper. Jim Curry again attended Congress in 2003 and we are
delighted that Step-N-Stone's Midnight Star won the two-year-old Classic
Stallion/Gelding Futurity. Step-N-Stone horses continued to win
big!

Bickford in Washington, Sundance, a half-sibling to Paprika, and is another offspring of
Cinnamon's, our first Registered mare. Known around the farm as "Cinner," this
fine young stallion garnered three Grand Champions last year in limited showing.
Sundance is homozygous for Pinto and is an excellent example of the type of ponies
we strive to breed at Step-N-Stone. His owner bred Sundance to
