Solid Brown Mare. 44 1/2" tall. This is a grand old mare and greatly treasured and beloved by us. She's 23 in this picture. We didn't acquire her until she was 17 years old, but she has turned into one of our favorite mares. She is the dam of HOF Northwind's Starfire Cody and Step-N-Stone's Midnight Star. She is an excellent producer for us and every foal of hers that we've been lucky enough to have has been a "keeper". She's California bred and born and carries a bloodline that is not readily available today. She has two crosses to Silver Mane's Pierre Cody on her dam side and goes back to the legendary Orloff on her sire's side. Elegant trot. Sweet personality. Cannot say enough good things about this fine old mare.

Kitten is Red Rock bred with one line to Bullseye & Queen Anne's Jet. She originally came from the Wa-Full Shetland Farm in Fullerton, NE - and found her way to Step-N-Stone from Rocking S Farm in Warren, TX. Kitten has a gorgeous arab type head with big soft expressive eyes. She is also REGISTERED PtHA. A real pretty mare!

At 42 1/4" tall, Silver Mist is one of our smallest mares, but she has qualities that make her a 'keeper' for us.  She finished to the Halter HOF in Foundation and helped make her dam, Piper, a Superior Dam.  In 2006 she produced her first foal, a lovely black pinto filly by Midnight Star.  With her long, long mane and forelock, there is a fairy tale air about her and the fact that she is so sweet and has two big blue eyes...well, she melts your heart.
